We have been playing Promised Sands, ElfWood and StarDust at a local game shop over the past few weeks.

Every Friday night, you can find one of our GMs running a group.

Sometimes you’ll find us there on the weekends and sometimes on Tuesday and Wednesday night, as well.

Here’s the fledgling website for the location: http://www.rpghog.com/

Anyone who reads this is invited to join us at any time. Bring your dice (or buy some at the counter) and join us in play. :)

StarDust is changing a bit. We’re moving away from the western/cowboy feel into a more “pulp” arena (which, arguably, contains western/cowboy element, but isn’t defined by them).

More news in the near future when there may be a Demo / Preview / First Look on the horizon… Keep your eyes peeled. :)

The Horse

The ubiquitous riding animal is still the flessh and blood horse. On established worlds, they are common and breed well. Some places, however, are just too inhospitable, even for the horse.

So technology has come to the rescue, to give the Ranger, the Mountie or the Byssrider a means to move about on a planet’s surface.

The Horse (capital ‘h’).

Creature: Plauga

This is a concept sketch of a genetically modified creature built to survive in some of the most inhospitable and barely terraformed environments. It is a Plauga. It’s mean. It’s rough. It’s vicious.

It also tastes great after fired on a grill and with a spicy sauce.
